Some people collect stamps. We collect information, with the goal of better providing our customers with what they need. Nau collects information from you in order to track and improve our service and interaction with our community and to provide specific services and benefits to individuals.
What information do we collect?
Nau tracks information from customer interactions both online and at our stores. This information may include your Internet domain address, interaction with areas within our Websites or stores, and other information that helps us develop and monitor our performance and track trends and statistics to improve your shopping and site experience. However, your identity will remain unknown to us unless you tell us who you are.
We request personal information from you (which may include name, address, telephone number, email address, gender and when necessary, credit card information) when you purchase products from nau.com or from our stores for Ship To You service, when you register with us or request to receive communications or when you participate in a promotion or submit content to our Website.
We collect information about gift recipients to fulfill gift purchases, respond to customer service inquiries and for analysis purposes only.
How do we protect your information?
Dogs, mostly. Big, mean dogs. Seriously, we maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect the confidentiality and security of personally identifiable information transmitted to us on our Website, via our stores or from any other interaction with Nau.
To guard your information, our Website uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). SSL encrypts your credit card number, name and address so only Nau is able to decode your information.

Unsubscribing, Removing or Modifying Your Information.

To unsubscribe from an email, please follow the instructions in any email you receive. You can also send a request to email@example.com. Be sure to include your first and last name and account email address in the “message” box.
Communications in Progress/Sales and Service Information.
We don’t’ want you to get anything you didn’t ask for. But, please note that if you have unsubscribed from any Nau communications, production schedules may result in you receiving communications already in production. Also, if you request your registration information be deleted or if you unsubscribe from communications, we may maintain information about sales transactions or service inquiries for future service and record keeping purposes.
What happens to your information in the event that Nau, Inc. is sold?
In the event that Nau is sold, or a substantial amount of its assets are acquired, customer information may be one of the transferred assets. New ownership would then notify you of any changes to their policies regarding your information.
