This year marks the 30th Anniversary for The Conservation Alliance—one of our Partners for Change.
Founded in 1989, The Conservation Alliance is a group of outdoor industry companies that disburses its collection annual membership dues to grassroots environmental organizations. They direct their funding to community-based campaigns to protect threatened wild lands for their habitat and recreation values in North America.
In celebration of their 30th Anniversary and Earth Day, they are hosting a special “We Keep It Wild” campaign. During the month of April, several outdoor brands are directing a percentage of their revenue to help raise funds for The Conservation Alliance efforts.
It’s been our mission to prove that business can be a force for positive change. Nau donates 2%* of every sale to our Partners for Change—so your purchase is already helping The Conservation Alliance.
The funds raised through this campaign will provide meaningful support to protect our most treasured and threatening wild places. Visit The Conservation Alliance website to learn more about the We Keep It Wild campaign.
Since inception in 1989, Conservation Alliance funding has:
- Saved 51 million acres of wildland
- Protected 3,107 miles of rivers
- Stopped or removed 34 dams
- Designated five marine reserves
- Purchased 14 climbing areas
