Cool Hunting: Nau Spring 2015 Editors’ Picks

— By: Nick Lawrence

Our Spring 2015 Collection launched last week and the editors over at Cool Hunting put together a collection of their favorites from the line. Here’s what the Cool Hunting editors had to say about the collection as a whole…

Cool Hunting has long been fans of Portland-based apparel brand, Nau. From their dedication to advancing technical functionality without sacrificing aesthetics, to their admirable Partners for Change initiative, Nau is a brand whose core values align with CH’s own. These values, plus several new and exciting designs, are displayed in their spring/summer 2015 collection, and CH editors have hand-picked a few of our favorites.

New Women’s Riding Blazer

The new cycling focused Cranky Jacket for men and women, the redesigned men’s Riding Jacket and new women’s Riding Blazer all made the cut. Also included are a few of our new women’s dresses and men’s shorts, all perfect pieces for the beautiful spring weather we all hope is right around the corner. The Cranky Jacket is a particular favorite of our as it uses a new 4-way stretch recycled polyester material that’s knit rather than woven. The knit construction gives the jacket an incredibly soft hand and 4-way stretch for maximum freedom of movement. Plus, the knit technic makes the fabric incredibly quiet, for a better on-bike experience.

Another Cool Hunting favorite on the women’s side was the new women’s Stylus Dress, made of a soft blend of organic cotton and Tencel for a comfortable fit, soft hand and full range of motion. The clean, classic design of the dress is perfect for a more formal occasion, but the special fabric blend means you can move through anything the city can throw at you.
