It’s not often a company — any company — gets the opportunity to redesign their web site. So when the opportunity does arise, it’s a special milestone for both us at the company and for you, the customer. But why did we do it, and what’s in it for you?
That can be answered in a myriad of ways, but most succinctly because: We’re growing. From our first big splash in the apparel world in 2007, we’ve had our ups and downs, but we are confident that the future is bright. We took that excitement (and an internal and external brand team) and infused that with the excitement of our new ownership group to shine a light on our premium, sustainable products and staff and company culture into one go-to place that represents Nau.

From a practical standpoint, the ecommerce team wanted to deliver you an experience like no other. Because the nature of apparel is such that you can’t touch or feel it online, we wanted you to get as close as you could to understanding the look, feel and texture of our fabrics without actually holding them. You’ll find patterns look more crisp, colors more accurate and photos show more detail (and there are a lot of photos). You’ll also notice that the products are much easier to find through navigation, search and a completely redesigned home page and category page (complete with filters).
All in all, it was one hell of a project. It took a lot of hard work from a lot of talented individuals, who all believe that their Nau jackets, pants and shirts are the best products they own and that the next few years, decades and generations will be filled with Nau-clad family members and friends.
