As an Oregon transplant from California, I’m being introduced to all sorts of new things: constant rain, driving 55 mph, and not being walking distance from the beach. I’ve always been up for trying new things-whether it’s food, drinks, activities…whatever. So when my fellow Nau employee, and Oregon native, Libby took me night-boarding on Wednesday I felt like a kid with a new toy. With what seemed like all of Ski Bowl to ourselves, we rode fresh (albeit hard) snow all night. This was quite a nice change from the crowded lines of Tahoe that I am used to. We even made a little stop in the warming hut for a pitcher of beer! I’ve found that night boarding is one of my new favorite activities! Too bad the season is just about over… Here’s a little video clip from one of our lift rides…this is also my first experience with video editing…
