Getting to gnome (know me)

Posted by Jenny | March 26th, 2009 | Filed under Uncategorized

gnomeThe products you get to buy off the web and in stores sometimes aren’t so, shall we say “beautiful”. When we receive prototypes for fitting the factories use available colors or have to substitute fabrics. When we develop new fabrics for the season sometimes it is being created at the same time we are developing the new styles. Occasionally we get some real winners. This is one of my favorites of the Men’s Riding Jacket…..and some people think our colors are boring. Do you really want to wear smurf blue?

Hahaha, that’s a great color. I would seriously consider picking up the Riding Jacket if it came in a lighter and brighter color than Caviar. :-)

I remember seeing a post here in TK, around the time of the relaunch, with a picture of the entire Nau crew, and someone was wearing the Riding Jacket in a blue not unlike this one.

I am all for bright faddish colors…for a sweatshop free T-shirt. For something I expect to last decades and be re-made as the garment ages, I want colors I have liked my whole life, like black.
