good job! I'm glad to see you've scaled back and plan to grow more responsibly this time. Few companies make a fortune in this industry and none of them do it overnight. Working with existing retailers makes so much more sense for a new line than taking on the added expense and responsibility of retail operations. Since so many of you came from huge brands like Nike and Gap it can be hard to adjust to life as a start-up, so I'm glad you have a second chance at it.

Jim - when we introduce our Fall 08 line in October you'll see a new, improved version of our Riding Jacket.

Preston - unfortunately we'll have the Shroud of Purrin Trench available for woman only. We will have a men's Shroud of Purrin jacket (including a new hooded version) but not in the trenchcoat length.

Jan - you can look forward to seeing the Modus jacket in the Fall 08 line.

And thansk to all of you for your enthusiastic commentary. We're working hard in anticipation of the Fall product launch.

I'm so thrilled you're coming back--like a lot of other people, I got hooked on Nau during the sale, and now I'm a convert. Everything is so well-designed and -constructed...and it all fits! (Thanks for making pants for short people!) :)

Please do whatever you can to get that Modus jacket into production - I want one! I love the chameleon-like quality of all of my Nau jackets - especially the Acoustic jacket which I hope you will reissue in other colors. Everything I have bought from you is so perfectly in sync with my lifestyle and design aesthetic. Can't stop gravitating to my Nau pieces and I appreciate your maverick combo of smart fabrics, unique details and overall comfort and ease. Prada, D&G, Jil Sander, Max Mara have nothing on you! A lot of what's out there seems either overdesigned or cookie cutter boring so I'm grateful that you've managed to survive. Keep doing whatever you're doing - you're on the right path!

Just putting my vote in for the return of the shroud of purrin trench (for men). Can you be brutally honest as to the chances of that happening?

Thanks;

All the best!

I do hope the Riding Jacket will make it's return.
It seems this design[Riding Jacket]is the perfect example of the seamless
transition from indoors to OUT..... This what Nau is known for.
