The "Transporter" being another. If you're going to drop $50K on a van, just buy an existing vanagon, throw a bio-deisel engine in it and go. If you want to reduce, then reuse!! There is a little hope coming in fall 08. There's a diesel Jetta Sportswagen that will get 40city/50hwy mpg. Now I know it's no van but it'll be a good Plan B.
