Sweetpea is, well, so sweet.

Posted by admin | September 4th, 2007 | Filed under Design, Outdoor Sport, Positive Change

The Sweetpea blog is on our blog roll because Natalie, who makes the bikes, and Austen, her partner and the guy who rides behind her, are our friends. Besides, we love what they do and how they do it. Apparently we’re not the only ones. I’m not sure how, but Hewlett Packard just discovered them and produced this short little video that tells their story. Check it out.

Thanks for the love you guys! As you know, we are big fans of what you are doing as well. . . In fact, you might not have noticed, but Natalie just happens to be wearing her Solid T in the video. I am not sure how often she welds in it, but it certainly gets out on a lot of bike rides!

This is kind of off topic, but I purchased some of your clothes recently, and am very happy with them.

But I wanted to know if you guys are ever going to make bags? I think with the materials you use, and the clean lines in all your stuff, bags would be a cool accessory, particularly a nice compact and durable bag one can have at all times to cut down on all the plastic bags you accumulate while shopping.

Thanks for your “off topic” comment. We love off topic comments, especially of the sort that you’ve offered up.

On the bags, you’ll be pleased to know they’re in the works. There will be a small assortment but its a tad premature to offer additional details.

Sweatpea, perfect… Is Nau’s bag endeavor going to come out with a sweet pea pod?? Some super soft, compact bike sack that doesn’t require bunches of mounting brackets and clips is what i’ve been looking for but cant find. Anyhow, thanks for getting the word out about SweetPea.
