Reasons We Love Portland, Number 39/27

Posted by admin | April 18th, 2007 | Filed under Outdoor Sport

My friend Brad put this ride on. He’s a little nuts. Around 100 people showed up. I can’t vouch for their sanity, but if you watch this footage of the day, you can decide for yourself. I had coffee at home with my girl, and watched soccer on TV. I felt a little guilty for not showing the love. Then I saw the video.

Yeah! That guy is core. I see him around town but don’t know his name. And he seemed to do damn good considering his choice of equipment.

    Hey Otis,

My thighs are burning just watching.

Thanks for the kind words about my blog. Commenting on one of your posts was the only way I could figure out how to reply.

My partner Matt actually struts around Columbus, Ohio wearing the Nau Twill Cargo Pant (oyster) which he ordered as soon as your site was up and ready for business–he loves them. He’d read about Nau in Outside Magazine.

Love the kitchen metaphor for the blog–I’ve added a link from mine–and the overall look and feel of your site is stunning.

    Take care,

    Daron

PS My friend EB is friends with Brett Dennen who Alex mentions in the Lucas Reynolds entry. Small world.
